2012-2015
I participated in my first AIDS Walk in 2002 in New York City when I was a sophomore in high school, so being on the production side of these 3 mega-events was just awesome.
Our participants numbered in the tens of thousands, and as a member and then leader of our national fundraising effort for 4 years, I was responsible for millions of dollars each campaign. This required strong leadership, effective communication and relationship building as well as management of multi-functional event teams.
Since 2002, I've been a part of 16 AIDS Walks.
